1) Is it possible?
2) Is it a myth?
Just curious. I've spoken to some women who seemed to spazz out like crazy and would blame it on PMS. So does that really have any relevance? How can one know for sure?
Also... Why does one woman get cranky as all hell where another never is? I know it's different from person to person but doesn't it seem ridiculous or immature to blame behavioral retardation on a menstrual cycle? I realize perhaps it can affect how you feel but should one not still be able to control themselves? How can it completely restrict one from thinking rationally, whatsoever?
I won't get into specifics but I only bring this up because I had a huge argument with a female friend of mine - who we always got along great but had a couple bumps in the road along the way before, but nothign ever like this. And her excuse was PMS. Wtf? She was a completely different person during that argument and said things I'd never imagined her capable of saying. Just shocking, is all.
Now I could understand... if something horrible happened. Such was not the case though, apparently. Can PMS turn someone into a completely different monster? Is "PMS" A VALID REASON or EXCUSE for people to act insanely? If someone goes nuts and then says it's PMS! is a guy expected to just say OH, ok? That's fine then.. or... what?
What are your views on this? Because my ex/gf (not the girl I was referring to earlier) has NEVER, EVER spazzed out on me unexpectedly nor blamed strange behavior on PMS. Why? How come she can treat me in a civil manner all throughout the month?
BTW, in case you believe it has any relevance I am turning 20 in April and the girls in question are 17-20 years old. I see two extremes, basically. But why? Why the sudden crazy bitchqueen from hell with NO explanation. How come PMS is an acceptable explanation? HOw come saying it's PMS makes it OK and instantly forgettable?
Someone please explain... 🙂 Try to keep this thread clean! err.. if possible.
