Underhanded Shuttle Driver

So little backknowledge. I live on a university campus with it's own shuttles and own drivers. I take the shuttle every morning with this girl (sorry no pics) in my building. Well for christmas i guess she got me something. Something small like cookies, candy and some small trinket. All in all not really worth anything. So apparently she had to take the shuttle before the one we usually take the day before christmas leave. She left the gift bag with the driver of the shuttle giving him a VERY good description of me and saying I would be on the very next shuttle. Fast forward to today i see the girl for the first time and she asks me if i liked the gift bag. I of course never received it. So both of us ask the driver where the bag is. He says he knows nothing of any bag and doesn't know what we are talking about. Is there anything I can do about this. or should i just forget about it and wish ill upon him for being such a douche.

You can't prove anything, so you won't be getting any compensation. I guess you could report him to whoever hires the drivers, but that won't do anything unless he has a history, and I don't see how he could have built up a history of theft driving a free shuttle.


Edit: I'd just chalk it up to experience and let it go.

Same here, I thought computer drivers and shuttle PCs till I read the second sentence.
