Underclocked 7800GTX???

My EVGA 7800GTX shows as 275MHz clock speed in Everest, and using coolbits shows that setting for Standard(2D) is 275MHz core clock and 1.2GHz memory clock. Yet performance(3D) is 450MHz/1.2GHz. Is this normal?? Would it be alright to bump the core clock in 2D mode up to 450MHz?? Thanks

There's no point.
The 2D mode is lower clock because you don't need high clocks in 2D, it would just take more power.
It's like that for a reason, and there's no reason or need to change it.
