when i was sick in highschool, my doctor suggested that i continue practices (basketball, baseball, etc). The level of activity increases blood flow and carries antibodies to help your body stave off infection or disease. However, you should not over do it. Light to moderate activity is best.

I would just rest, do a little nonaerobic exercise, and eat healthy food (healthier than usual).

bed rest is your best friend when you're sick. your body is then able to dedicate more resources to fighting off the invaders!

I usually keep up my daily schedule of working out whenever I happen to get sick. As tfinch2 said, I always feel better after working out.
