Here's the system:
Asus P4B266
P4 1.6A@2240
512meg PC2100 Crucial DDR
Radeon 8500
HP 9110 8x4x32 CDRW
Phillips 12x8x32 CDRW
2 Maxtor 20gig 7200rpm hard drives
Linksys 10/100 Ethernet
Promise ATA 100 PCI adaptor card
Sound Blaster live 5.1
4 80mm Antec case fans
1 1.44 Floppy
All this is powered by an Antec 300w power supply that is about a year and a half old.All of the 12v molex plugs are being used with one plugged into the Easy Plug for the mother board. At default speeds Motherboard Monitor shows the +12v at 12.04v,as I step up the clock speeds it gets lower.@2240 idle the 12v line drops to 11.49v and when I run Prime95 it falls to 11.12v.Now I don't know too much about voltages but MBM shows the -12v @ 0.56v and the -5v @1.74,I think that looks awful bad to me.Do you guys think it's time for a bigger power supply?
Any help will be appreciated.
