Undelete software for SD card?

A good friend of mine accidentally formatted her SD card due to a clumsy camera interface (plus she didn't know what format means). Her and her boyfriend are here from out of town and just spent two weeks on the road for their trip and had plenty of great shots -- it'd be a shame if they're all in some digital oblivion, you know.

Is there any software out there that is effective with undeleting SD cards? I tried googling a bit but I figured the AT community could shed some light.

We really appreciate any help you can offer
