Hi all,

First of all i'm not quite sure whether my problem is hardware, software or even a combination of the two related so if you think i should post it under another category please let me know.

My problem is:
**************************************************************
I've already ripped a number of Audio CDs to .mp3 320kbps format using Creative's PlayCenter 3.0.71 that came bundled with my Audigy Player sound card. The .mp3s sound great in both PlayCenter and Windows Media Player 10.

When i burnt those .mp3s to Memorex CD-R 700MB 52x about 2/3 of the CD is corrupt, unreadable or that ever else you like to call it when i play it back. What is going terribly wrong?

I'm using NERO 6 and my CD-RW drive is the LiteON SOHC 5232k.

**************************************************************

Should i reduce the bitrate rate to < 320kbps?

The folder size to be burnt is 691MB (.mp3s only); should i reduce it?

The burn speed is set by default to 52X; should i reduce it?

I've used MEMOREX media before without any problem whatsoever; shoud i try another brand?

In NERO i tried both create data disk and mp3 disk but the problem remains the same!!!

Help, how can i successfully create an audible MP3 disk?

Many thanks,

First, I would say try using a lower burning speed like 16x or 24x.

The folder size of 691mb shouldn't be a issue. If the lower burning speed doesn't help, then I would try a different type of media.

What drive are you trying to playback the CD? If you've got another drive (or another system), see if the CD is readable elsewhere.
