Hey.
The problem that I experience its really really strange to me, and I found the last bit of the cause but I have no idea why.
I have "ping x.x.x.x -t" and see that after every 6-7 successful pings to the gateway I get 4 timeout and sometimes "Destination Unreachable" (but only 1 packet) .
The cause was a laptop, that if turn on, there is no lost packtes, but if the laptop goes to sleep or I shut it down, the problem appear.
I have absoliutly no idea why , but that "fix" the problem O_O .
Do you have any suggestions?
Edit: I have replaced the switch with another one of the same kind Netgear ProSafe 8 port gigabit , and now it seems to work ok. But does that mean its purely a hardware issue or it might be some other type of conflict?
P.S. Regarding the switch mechanics, if I have interconnected switches, each one of them have a full MAC map of the network , right ?
