I have to write a 4 page paper on the following questions regarding Uncle Toms Cabin....any input is greatly appreciated. I have a good idea on most of them, but i'd like your ideas to add on too....as i DO have quite a bit to write. Thanks.

Sarcastically.

It was originally published as a serial novel in an abolitionist journal named the "National Era".

I think the better question is how did responding works relate to this book. It spawned about thirty rebuttal novellas, the most notable being "Aunt Phillis's Cabin: Or Southern Life As It Is" by a Virginian (forget the name). Also the novel was redressed and acted out in plays, songs, pamphlets...

5. What conclusions does the author reach?
Slavery bad.

Well, no, the thing is i actually DIDN'T read the book yet....i didn't forget i've just been putting it off, and it's now the day before, so i dcieded i should start...

It's a good book, and the character of Uncle Tom is not at all like the current meaning of the insult.

That said, use Google if you're too lazy to do your homework.
