Uncle sam takes 41% of your bonus?

Uncle Sam took 0% of my bonus because I'm in Canada, and because my boss didn't give bonuses.

As some have said earlier, "bonus incomes" are subjected to be taxed higher.

For example, my weekly check of $577, federal tax is only $65.
My bonus of $280, they took out $76 in federal.

I live in Florida, no income taxes.
