Unbelievable BFBC2 Vietnam Gameplay video

How could he lead a pilot in a helicopter across the map and score a headshot? Incredible.
He's not showing you all the misses. Dude's only 55% with his M40 compared to my 58%, granted I usually don't even bother with trying to go for kills out of the Huey with the M40, the auto snipers are much better anti chopper weapons.

some incredible kills in that video!

I've played with "masdeath" on a few servers before. He didn't seem all that good but this video will answer any doubts I guess.
As a frag video he's obviously going to be more inclined to show his best moments. He's definitely not a bad player but he doesn't seem to be too team oriented, he definitely does his own thing first instead of trying to work with others.

i hope his teammates weren't in the chopper when he kept bailing
When he was the pilot I'm pretty sure the chopper was empty. But yeah, kills like that haven't even occurred to me because when I'm in a chopper its my buddy flying and I can do far more damage and contribute much more to the team by staying in it as the gunner. Unsurprisingly those are the only kills I found unique enough to be impressive compared to what I do, but then again I haven't even been inspired to even bother with wasting the chopper like that.

My best guess is that in the cases of him 'knowing' where enemies are, it's a case of it being a very common place for enemies to approach from, or he heard them coming. Probably a bit of both.
Vietnam maps have a ton of bottle necks so its easy to look for the common paths people most likely take. That's all he's doing, I do the same thing.

all i see is a cheater and terrible netcode/lag
cuz you're a baddy FPS player

One hit bodyshot kills with a sniper rifle? How come I can't do that in the vanilla game? 😕
because the M40 does 105 max/70 base damage before magnum ammo compared to the M95 at 100 max/55 base damage before magnum (base damage = the minimum damage the bullets will do at long distances). The one shot to the body kill radius is thus much larger.

Never played the game but tanks seem rather useless. Apparently, one guy running by tossing 2 stickies on his way to Starbucks eliminates them with ease.

Tanks work great in a team with an infantry squad. As it should be.

Yup, just like IRL, tanks can be very vulnerable to enemy infantry without infantry support of their own. Problem is that this is a video game so the tanks and infantry do their own thing instead of trying to work together. But tanks definitely are not worthless, the dude had several main gun chopper kills, but that's not really impressive at all because the giant circle the blades create counts as part of the Huey's hit box, its incredibly easy to shoot choppers down with the main gun from all ranges.

Seems like a lot of shrapnel damage is done from those sticky bombs. And a couple of his bazooka shots missed the chopper but apparently they still got hit and blew up. hmmmm......
lagging hitboxes, happens all the time.

weird how all these great players are all "snipers"
sniping is pretty much OP
That's why I'm whoring it as much as I can now before they potentially nerf it 😀

I don't necessarily see cheating, but I do see some absolutely awful hit detection, especially on those RPG shots. I don't play BC/BC2, never have, and after watching that atrocity, probably never will.

Shame, cause the rest of it looks pretty fun. 🙁

No way he's not cheating, some of those heli shots missed by over 10 feet.

I usually just throw 2 sticks of c4 on the front of helicopters and then ram stuff jumping out before impact and then detonating. This works pretty well against tanks, but usually pisses some server admins off.

hate bastards who waste choppers.

Hate to toot my own horn .. but i've done all of what that guy has done, I just don't have time to record/edit videos anymore.

sniping pilots from choppers...lead snipping at 500 yards across 1-2 spawn points on rush maps, etc.

What's with the little spin move he does before shooting a rocket at the helicopters?

He finally heard it and decided to turn around and launch one at it.

Oddly, I agree with pontifex ... when he shot down the choppers, it looked like they landed much farther back..like 2-5 feet passed the tail. maybe it was because I was watching on the iphone though...

I don't think so. he shoots down choppers with rockets 4 times in the video.

Once at 0:10, then at 1:00, also at 1:50 - this one he is looking right at the target for several seconds before spinning and shooting, and last at 5:30. Each and every time he spins before shooting and it seems the rocket hits way behind the helicopter.

I think he spins to "stretch" the hit box allowing him a much greater chance to hit the moving target.

Interesting, I usually train on a chopper...and lead it before shooting. I usually hit the meat/cab of it too, not the tail + 10 feet like he does. Wonder if it's a bug?
