My bud (works same place as me) just MSNed me to tell me that he's out of a job.
He was hired as seasonal, but that's not what annoys me.

Stupid b*tch girl in my department got promoted, & another wanker did too...but the people who actually do their job like my bud...nah, they get dumped :|
It seems to be the way of things.
The idiots get promoted to management, while the best employees attempt to get into management only to be f*cked over by some asswipes who suck their way up.

I f*cking hate things sometimes...:roll:

Its seasonal... Seasonal almost always get dumed. If its tough, make sure yo are not a seasonal employee.

Management promotions are rarely because of performance. Being good at your job doesn't mean that you'd be good at management. Managment is all about people skills. Those who suck up are better at showing off their people skills.

It sucks to learn, and embitters a ton of hard-working, loyal employees. And it's probably not the best way to run a company. Thing is, managers rarely get ahead by taking risks. If they can justify a decision (and cover their asses afterwards) they will go for it, whether it's the best decision or not.

Work for a smaller company.
