has anybody ever had a problem where XP always wants to do a scandisk at boot up? When I escape the scandisk, it either just sits there or reboots. Even if it completes the scandisk it'll just reboot and do scandisk again. I can't get into safemode either cuz it hangs while loading the drivers. Is the boot sector corrupt or something?
 
Never had teh problem.

But go to your HDD manufacturer's site and d/l the free diagnostic tools. They're bootable so it avoids the problem of booting into windoz.
