Unauthorized HTTP Access in router log

I get "Unauthorized HTTP Access" showing up in my log for my router. The ports are 3232, 1822, and 1689. What are these ports used for? Should I block these ports or not worry about it?

did u open those ports?

"Unauthorized HTTP Access" some one was trying to get into the router, alot of time its spyware. and the router denided it.

what kind of router?

Not 100% sure but i think thats what it means.

Port 1689 is used by Firefox (Mozilla browser).

Port 1822 is used for ES-ELMD. I have heard this term before but honestly don't recall what it signifies and haven't been able to find anything useful on Google.

Port 3232 is an MDT port. A mobile radio transceiver configuration which is becoming increasingly popular includes a radio transceiver connected to both a digital control head and a mobile data terminal (the control head being used for voice communications and the mobile data terminal, or "MDT", being used for communication of digital signals).

Are all of these connections originating from the same IP address? Are they coming from an internal IP address (one of the computers on your network) or an external IP? Do they happen a lot, or just a couple of times?

We have traffic lights on the Street because there is traffic.

If there was No Activity like this we would Not need Firewalls (Routers).

The different ports are being accessed by different IP address's. They show up two to three times in a row on my log. I searched one of the IP address and it came from a account from a service provider in Canada.

I have the firewall turned on in my router and also have sygate software firewall running. The software firewall does not show any activity of an unauthorized access.

Maybe this is normal, I don't know. That is why I posted it here to find out. I had also did a Google search for the port numbers but MDT and ES-ELMD mean nothing to me. Is this normal activity? I went to Gibson Research (www.grc.com) and tested with Shields UP!!. It tested the first 1056 TCP ports and the test turned up good. All ports showed stealth rating from the probe test. This test did not test the port numbers that I have gotten in my router log though.

I think you are worried for Nothing.

It is just "Poor English" used in the log messages. You probably interpret it an as activity that actually got into your system pass the Router and the software firewall.

This Log entry probably means that an outside Internet activity was ?knocking? on your door.

There are a lot of such activities on the Internet line especially on Cable Internet connection.
