They needed to get attention. THey wanted to present their dead son in the best light possible. Fundamentally, it is incredibly unjust that Zimmerman isn't even sent to trial for this shooting.

Need for attention.. Yeah maybe we're coming closer and closer to the truth.

Maybe some of us would feel different if they were trying to present their son in an accurate light, rather than the best falsified one possible.

It is not unjust. This not how the law works anywhere in the USA. Zimmerman was defending himself, all of the facts and evidence point to this.

You want zimmerman's blood so badly you can't even think straight. You need to take a step away from the situation and try to look at this with unbiased eyes.

Exactly! Oh, wait, there are witnesses. Oh well for that theory then.

This is all so embarrassing for the black community IMO, how some of its people are dealing with this and going ape over something thy have few facts about. There is at this time no reason to think George is lying and in any case if there is a trial maybe we can find out then. In the meantime I see TONS of racism and it is propagated by those who assume that a half white guy must have been racist and there is no other reason he shot the kid. The racists here are those jumping to anti-white conclusions despite knowing damn near nothing about what happened.

Like I said earlier, the saddest part of this situation is that the next trayvon really will need the public support and probably won't get it after all of this BS and crap going around.

If it is so meaningless why have they gone out of their way to present Martin as a 12 year old rather than a full grown 17 year old with a history of drug use and vandalism.

If the reference to him hitting a bus driver is accurate he could have a history of violence. Since he was a minor we will probably never see any criminal record if he had one.

Martin was a sweet, innocent, little teenager. LOL, I remember how sweet and innocent I was at 17... and I had a babyface then too.

So you're saying factual reporting of things his son did is "disrespecting" him and "disgraceful"? Shouldn't it have been his son doing those things that's disrespectful and disgraceful?

I'm saying that making out marijuana and writing on a locker to be evidence of a violent demeanor is disgraceful. These are incredibly minor offenses.

She has her flaws.

But what is important is that she didn't hear "punching"

That is consistent with them struggling over the gun.
Yeah because those movie fights have it all right with what it sounds like to get hit...have you ever actually seen a fight in real life?

No it wouldn't. A slap would be a slapping sound.

Punches typically don't make that loud of a sound unless a bone is cracking at the time of the punch. Otherwise it's soft tissue contacting soft tissue for the most part. I've been in enough fist fights to know this and seen more than my fair share. Usually the loudest sounds made during a fight is the scuffle of things being knocked around, people falling to the grounds, the yells/expletives being uttered by the combatants.

One of the main reasons I discount Cutcher and her roommate's testimony is that she didn't want to get involved that night. Also it wasn't known that Trayvon was a minor (little boy) until the next day. That's when she started claiming she heard a little boy crying/whining though on the 911 tape is so clear someone is SCREAMING HELP!!!!

All of the reports I've read said that he had many of the little baggies. IE he wasn't buying, he was selling. He has apparently punched a bus driver. He has tattoos, gold teeth, and clearly represents "thug culture" is something he respects and follows.

He was in the middle of 10 day out of school suspension. His mother had enough of him, and sent him to stay with his father.

Once again, this is the USA and we don't send people to trial without evidence they did something wrong...if they come up with that evidence he will go to trial

No, they are a history of someone that disrespects authority and the law. The history of him attacking a bus driver shows the above AND he has made a violent action in the past. Don't forget the bag full of women's jewelry that was taken from him.

No disrespect to Joe Oliver, but millions of people know that Zimmerman may have returned to his vehicle, only to find Martin again, which is what he did. And I am willing to bet that Zimmerman probably flashed that weapon and thats what the fight was over. Zimmerman himself said the kid went for his weapon, well when did he see it? Cause as fat as his ass is, ain't like anyone's gonna see a weapon tucked in hs waist band, with a sweatshirt on over top.

Also as for the Martin slip ups. Obviously he could not have been an habitual marijuana or drug user, because he was clean. And in an autopsy that is blood testing, not a urine sample. He got caught doing grafitti and a bunch of jewlery. Maybe he was a small time hustler, but one thing is for sure he definately was not a violent person.

But now we do have some evidence of violence in the past with Mr. Zimmerman though.

She was inside her house. Who knows what she could hear.

Was she even paying attention? Was the crying out too loud to hear punches. Was her AC on? Was her TV on? Was her roommate talking?

Etc.

I'm incredibly reluctant to draw many conclusions from her remarks.

LOL wut?

Zimmerman has a past full of violence? How so? Making 911 calls in a neighborhood recently hit by large amounts of crime in an attempt to clean said neighborhood up as full of violence?

I know his parents feel as if the latest released info about their son is somehow character assassination, but it isn't. His history and past reactions to various scenarios are relevant in determining his possible actions given a situation where there is a lack of evidence concerning what may have occurred during key moments of the incident.

Zimmerman was arrested for resisting arrest in 2005 also had domestic violence case in the same year. Trayvon was suspected by some people as having a violent past based on facebook posts and/or twitter feeds :)

When you read the ex fiances account of Zimmermans behavior its not out of character for him to have intiated a confrontation he ended up on the losing end of.

In fact given the previous documented cases of zimmermans violence, given that Austin Brown saw him laying on the ground but didnt mention martin on top of him, its equally plausable, He assalted Martin, got his ass kicked when Martin backed off he shot him.

That would coincide with Austin Browns account,

"an eyewitness, 13-year-old Austin Brown, told police he saw a man fitting Zimmerman's description lying on the grass moaning and crying for help just seconds before he heard the gunshot that killed Martin."

No mention of Martin on top of him.

"The woman said she offered to drop the papers off the following day, but Zimmerman became upset, took her cellphone and shoved her. A fight ensued, she said, and her dog bit Zimmerman's cheek."

I wonder if thats why Trayvon's call with his girlfriend was interrupted?

So basically you're take on this is a bunch of events you've flat out made up in your head.

Again, same with karmy, it's so relieving to me that our justice system doesn't rely on the same assumptions you are jumping to. It makes things much more fair and balanced... You know, what with focusing on facts and what actually happened, and all that nonsense.. rather than just going by gut feelings and emotions.

IIRC, there's no proof of him hitting a bus driver is there?

Austin Brown had a more complete report of the event originally when the father refused to allow him to be identified.

So you have shown you know NOTHING about drug testing here...a BLOOD sample only shows if he was actively under the influence, a URINE sample tests for metabolized proteins that show up for sometimes weeks.

And I wouldn't be betting on your theories...

I believe they should follow Florida law and provide Zimmerman the protections he's guaranteed by the US Constitution.

lol what? Cite the Amendments you're so concerned about. This is a civil criminal matter and is subject to FL law. Which, we've now learned, has this legal monstrosity called SYG.

you can detect marijuana in the system for like a month after usage, right?

Clearly he wqasn't the sweet little kid that the press (and that picture) made him out to be. And the shooter was white. Wait, he wqas white/hispanic. Like Obama is white/black?

I'm seeing info that this is a myth.

Yes, the testing was done but the results have not yet been released.

I.e., we don't yet know. Not sure that it matters anyway.
