So you think the family will be willing to pay for Mr Zimmerman's defense costs.

I think they will be willing to take that risk, since these costs are taxed only if a jury finds the self-defense statute applies under the circumstances of the case. I personally would be willing to take the case and bear that risk as their lawyer if I were licensed in FL. I expect the HOA will likely end up paying through the nose on this case.

I don't think this really says much. Normally, when someone lies, they don't do so when they know for certain something will soon be revealed to expose this lie. The chief had to know that the 911 tapes would be released eventually, if not soon, even. I don't think this "lie" indicates any sort of cover up in the investigation, or whatever you were implying earlier.

Of course you don't. A lie is a lie.

Why is your boy in hiding? I thought the whole point of all these pro gun FL laws is so you vigilantes wouldn't have to back down. Why isn't he standing his ground? Doesn't he have any honor?

The purpetually offended have arrived to form a lynch party. No matter how guilty or innocent you are, you run from a lynch party. If you do not, you wind up dead.

I thought that much was known by everyone of every race, color, sex, and creed.

OK.

He knew he was black, Chief lied,

technically he is correct, I still believe.

Look, when someone profiles someone for being black, when they call 911 they KNOW FOR SURE THAT THE GUY IS BLACK.

And indeed, at the beginning of the call when asked if he was black, Zimmerman said he didn't know. That is the truth.

When you are going to link to something, you should actually provide the link to that something...else you are not linking to it.

This is the article he's referring to, I believe - http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/03/16/2697604/trayvon-martins-parents-criss.html

I pointed out that it doesn't appear that it is a direct quote from the Chief (no quotation marks, where many are used elsewhere in the article). The article seems a little biased too, IMO: look at the title.

It'd been posted before, I can't expect everyone to read all the pages, and besides it's a couple of posts down from where I quoted it.

Of course you don't. A lie is a lie.

You look good in that dress (no, you don't).

I didn't kill that man (yes, I did).

Not quite.

Edit: If you would, please try to think of a reason WHY the chief would "intentionally" (this is important) lie about the tapes when he knows they will be released soon.

I have taken hapkido for years. my son is in taekwondo (the hapkido place closed or he would be in that) and my ex-wife was in karate/hapkido .

I have NEVER heard a place teach you to "speak like you were the victim"

it must be a interesting place if it teaches you to be the victim every place i have seen try to keep that from happening..

Because you took 'belt school' Waggy. You didn't take any 'real' marital arts, you took glorified gymnastics and aerobics.

Take a class specifically designed for self-defense on the street and they will sure as hell teach you how to defend yourself without putting yourself at risk for arrest/lawsuits.

Hate to break it to you, but most of the time the crowd sides with the loser of a fight unless they were a big part of what lead to it.

Martin is almost a foot taller than zimmerman. Disparity of force could come into play giving more credence to zimmerman's story and the vicious attack by Martin on a guy who just wanted to ask what he was doing/allowed to be there/who he was visiting.

Martin, feeling much disrespected, viciously attacks zimmerman, Martin is the aggressor. Then zimmerman on his back, crying for help, is forced to shoot his assailant.

I welcome full access to all the evidence. Likely if it goes to grand jury and no indictment we'll never see that evidence as to protect the victim (zimmerman).

dude you'd be hiding like a baby.

The main reason he hasn't come forward is due to advice from his lawyer(s). The media is already spinning everything and people are editing the tapes on youtube.

Is this why you said Trayvon was a pussy when you thought it was him crying out and now you think Zimmerman has this "special street defense training" and was just being smart when he cried.

I don't think it was disrespect. I think it was legitimate fear/panic.

Or Zimmerman might have initiated a confrontation. We don't know.

Unless the self defense claim can be refuted Mr Zimmerman will have immunity from criminal prosecution and civil action. Also the law is clear that the plaintiff will have to pay for the defendant's legal fees and other costs including lost wages.

Martin was 6'8" and 140lbs... by your accounts, Zimmerman is 5'8" and 250 lbs. You gotta be kidding me.

Trayvon Martin was 6'9" and 140 pounds? What a world! That must bolster your "ghetto stomp" theory.

p.s.: As you'd know if you'd been paying attention, the initial reports about Zimmerman being 5'2" were wrong - he is 5'9".

I'm sure there's people willing to donate if that happens. Zimmerman hasn't even gotten a lawyer yet iirc.

And it doesn't seem that Zimmerman had a job other than wannabe cop, he probably sponges off his wife.

LOL

You are so comical. You are backing 4 black dudes at the park. You been questioned a lot with your tricked out Saturn, lol. You took martial arts, where they taught you how to speak like you were the victim. You are so full of donkey ^*&(^(^(&

It's apparent you lack comprehension into most things.

I've avoided the 911 calls, but Cenk Ugyer just had a segment showing one of the calls had Zimmerman appearing to say 'F****** coons' about Martin when chasing him.

Yeah, I saw it a few posts later. :) I did not want to delete my other post due to potentially cause confusion.
