uname not upto date?

Did you update this through Yast or did you update it manually? It's my understanding that uname should be returning info directly from the kernel, not through a configuration file. I could be wrong on this, but this is how it was explained to me.
 
I just did a kernel update and when I run uname the old kernel still shows? How to I update this?

If it really installed the new kernel then you probably booted the old one again, I'd imagine that the update tool will leave both versions installed incase something goes wrong with the new one.
