Unable to utilise Altec Lansing's ADA885 with Extigy fully. Need Help!

I'm unable to use the digital inputs of the Altec lansing ADA885 speakers on the extigy soundcard. Currently, the green wire (to computer front audio) is connected into the headphone jack of the Extigy. The other inlets do not work. Is there a better configuration to fully optimise my speakers? DO I need to purchase any adaptors?

If all you're running is a single analog wire, you're just sending a two-channel audio stream.

You'll need to find out if you need optical cable or digital SPDIF.
