I have a Radeon 7000 w/ S-video TV out so I hook it up to TV to watch movies and stuff. The thing is I can't play DVDs or run Warcraft III. I forgot what error message PowerDVD gave me and WC3 said something about not being able to initialize Direct3D or something like that.

When I had an old Geforce2 w/ TV out I could play PowerDVD / WC3. However that had a dongle that converted the TV out into composite and S-video output jacks, but I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Do you have the latest Drivers? Some of the old ones won't let you overlay video on a Tv. You might have to lower your computer display to 640x480 so it is the same as the TV.
