I installed Roxio EasyCD Creator Platinum the other day...
Then when I reset my computer things went bad. After I'd type in my username and password, the computer would reset a few seconds later... No errors, no nothin'. Just BAM! Reset.
Major driver conflict or something similar.
I eventually started the computer in safe mode, and using msconfig removed all traces of the EasyCD Creator software from startup (those stupid startup programs are memory-hoggers anyways).
Everything works fine now, except I can't uninstall the software. Every time I go into the control panel to uninstall it, apparently something loads while the uninstallation is in progress and the comptuer just resets.
Any ideas on how to uninstall it? I'd rather be able to take this thing off of my computer...I'm pretty peeved at the problems it's caused already...
I tried to uninstall in safemode...no go. The MS service which deals with installs/uninstalls won't start, so I can't get rid of it...
If I just delete the directory, I'll leave lots of junk in the registry and I'd rather not do that.
Can anybody offer any help?
