Unable to setup nvflash driver

I am trying to flqsh my 980 Ti with the 980 Ti SC VBIOS but when I run nVFLASH and do the nvflash --protectoff, I get an error message saying unable to load the nvFlash Driver 0x0000020

I tried stopping the nvflash.exe running in the background and tried with a few versions of nv flash including the latest one but no luck

any ideas? I am using NVFlash 5.165 at the moment

nevermind, a reboot fixed this, now trying to figure out how to flash it because it's asking me to disable the GPU via device manager , if I do that I have no display, WTF!

You should still have the generic driver for the gpu when disabled.

yeah it required a reboot.

Now rocking the 980 Ti SC VBIOS 🙂 Just got myself a free GPU SLI upgrade 😀
