unable to set refresh rate

I am currently using Geforce2 GTS card with 6.5 leaked driver on win98 2nd edition on a Viewsonic E771 monitor.

resolution 1024*768
My question is, Viewsonic tells me that my monitor can go up to 85 refresh rate how come I dont see any tab to adjust refresh rate for my monitor? I only refresh rate adjustment under the video card adaptor and the max it goes up to is only 75 whats going on? Any help is appreciated.

Right. Try going back to your old driver and see if things will revert back to normal.

actually it was like this since for a very long time... Is the official driver will work?

Try the offical driver and also try updating your ViewSonic monitor driver which you can search right here.

I did got the latest driver from viewsonic....
Would there be any possibility to get it activate it I am very appreciate your help

When you say they said the refresh rate goes upto 85Hz, did they specify that it does 85Hz @ 1024x768?

Try knocking down the resolution to 800x600 then take a look at the refresh rate options, if theres a 85Hz then thats what they meant.

Ya more refresh rate actually poped but how about under the monitor tab?
isnt there suppose to be one too? Or I am mistaken?
