Can you give more information? Do you just not see anything related to private messaging?If so, then make sure "Enable Private Messaging" is checked in your options (it's the second section down after you go into "Edit Options" in your control panel.

I have private messages and did get messaged earlier today. I am unable to respond. I click reply, fill out the info, and click send, but it never shows up in my sent items folder and I don't think they are going out. Tried this on IE and Chrome both.
 
They are going out, you just need to enable "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default"

Make sure that is checked in your options and you are good to go.

Thanks, that was it. I used to have it checked, I'm unsure how it became unchecked, but I'm glad it is working..
