Happened at some point this week. I have been running Serviio for the last few months on my home server using WHS 2011. I updated my mobo and cpu and ssd on my main gaming rig, and now on my ps3 or android phone, the only media server I see is my directtv media server. This new rig is hardwired to my network (and so is my server) and I'm able to access my server and see the PS3 Media server and Serviio server, but anything wireless does not see it.
I went into advanced settings in W7 and switched the setting to All Networks, but it wouldn't pick up any unknown devices (which should be the ps3 and my android phone). I stopped the Serviio server and restarted it on my home server, and decided to install PS3MS on my gaming rig and have the files I want streamed mapped to the home server, but I still can't see any media servers on my ps3 or android device. Any help would be appreciated.
To note, I did not make any changes to my home server, so I'm not sure why it would all of a sudden not work. I do not have a static IP for my home server, so maybe my new rig is using the ip or blocking it somehow? I'm pretty new to networking and don't know much, if anything, about port forwarding and router configs, but I'm thinking therein lies the problem.
