This is likely an issue with the fact that I have installed European drivers so that I can print DVD/CD inkjetables with my Canon printer. But since i have all of the European drivers and software installed, I am stumped as to hwy my scanner is just not listed.
Running Windows 6 Pro 64bit and have a Canon MX850 multifunctional.
Everything shows as being installed and works, but scanning... nothing. No scanner is shown in device manager or under "Devices and printers" 9where it should be listed).
If i install the CanoScan software (I have tried several versions) it does not see my MX850 at all.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd like to hear them. It is incredibly frustrating that my multi-functional is only semi-functional if I want to print DVD's (something i absolutely must do).
