Unable to post with Opera 5.0 final / linux

When using Opera 5.0 final on linux (I suspect the problem appears with the Windows version as well) I'm unable to
post anything. What's more annoying, the message just disappears after pressing send button, and I get no error message. (I get thrown back to the message thread page).

While the problem is likely related to the Opera's non-perfect javascript support, you might want to consider patching your system so that at least an error message is given.
