Unable to play WC3 after installing expansion!

Myself and pretty much everyone i know are unable to play regular WarCraft 3 after installing the expansion. Launching war3.exe simply loads up the expansion, and not the game itself. Is there any way to get around this? Perhaps multiple installations of the game? I want to be able to play both the expansion and the original game.
 
Have you tried reading the manual?
It's still beta, don't expect much cooperation.
I find it hard to believe that an expansion pack would disallow operation of the original game.
