unable to ping computers

help me on this one please,
when i call in from home to my work computer {all win 98 se tcpip}
which is set to dial in server, i can't get it to be a gateway to all the computers on the network. i can see the computers in network
neighborhood, however i can't ping to them {can't access}.
any solutions???
