After completing BIOS setup w/ the following settings: 150mhz FSB @ 1.57v, 512mb Corsair XMS PC3200 @ 2,5,2,2,1T....I disabled the USB, Lan, Realtec audio, & Firewire. Created Raid 0 w/ea Maxtor 40Gb as master on end of each connector. Changed AGP to 64mb for my Radeon 8500. Setup boot sequence for CD, Floppy, HDD. Have 48x12x48 CD-RW & 16xDVD as master/slave on Primary IDE channel( want to add a hard drive on second IDE later). After rebooting several times, to make sure that my overclocked settings were not going to cause a problem, I started my Win XP OEM installation and was able to partition & format the Raid 0 Array. Windows was loading & looking for hardware when I received the following message:

File dxmasf.dll was not copied correctly. The file Setup placed on your hard drive is not a valid Win XP system image. If you are installing from a CD, there might be a problem with the Win XP CD.

Then, after rebooting, I received the usual start screen showing my system status with PCI device listings & Diskette Drives, Etc, ending with the following message:

Verifying DMI Pool Data . . . . . . . .
Boot from CD :
Press any key tro boot from CD . .
NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

Any reboot would end with the same message! I could not reformat the drives from a Win 98 Startup floppy(DOS based) and start over, and my WinXP CD would not restart the installation. I might be able to RMA the OEM XP disc but hope that is not neccessory.

Does anyone have a solution or possible answer since Microsoft will not provide support on OEM software without a $35 charge per call !!
