unable to list directory on ftp server

hi i have a ftp server set up behind my linksys router, i have it running on port 5051 and i have 5050-5051 forwared to me, sometimes when people try to connect they get the error 425 Cannot open data connection (10060). They have passive off and this only happens with other people behind routers. does anyone know what the problem could be?

i am running windows XP and bpftpserver.

enabling passive mode doesnt work either, any other suggestions?

Get on the phone....calll Linksys and start bitching to them...
This is a BIG problem I have seen with Linksys routers...I like them and al lthey are a great inexpensive solution...but sometimes they stink when it comes to port forwarding and such.
PASV does not always work, if you tried it and it isnt working then frankly you are about out of luck besides going direct to the cable modem/DSL connection.
