Unable to install nvidia Physics driver, Help

I am unable to install the physics driver for msi GTX 460 Hawk.
i get a popup msg tht "the drivers already installed are newer than you are installing aborting setup"

Why is this happenning ? There are no physics drivers installed Checked in GPU-Z.

tried both msi preferred v259.22 and v266 driver frm nvidia.
Even tried installing the physics driver seperately after cleaning the pc with driver cleaner still it doesn't works.
 
Use the latest driver from Nvidia's site for your card and OS. (270.61) I believe.
Run the installation. Choose "Custom" Install. Then choose "Clean install" and make sure all items are checked.
