When I try to use Fireburner or CDRWin, I get that message and it says it detects no cd-rw present in my system. Nero works fine and I guess it's because it doesn't use the ASPI interface thingy :) or whatever to burn cds. I remember in win98se that those had always worked so I guess it's just not installed in win2k. How do I do it?

I got that first file and I went to get the second and it said not for win98, 2000, etc... so I didn't get the update. But then when I installed the first one it said for 95/NT but it ended up working anyway. I didn't install the update but it probably will work I guess.

Thanks

Sorry, I should have mentioned that my success was in Win2k. I believe that these are the same files that ForceASPI installs, but from a more official location.
