Hey guys,
I finally got my system up and running stable after a fried powersupply and some faulty memory. After I installed the new ram I went into the bios to set to 2-3-2-5 timings @ t1 and got a boot failure. After resetting CMOS i was able to get 2-3-2-5 @t2 running stable and have been running for a couple weeks, but have heard that I really need t1 for a64 systems.
Will my board not handle t1? Is it the (memory) the problem? Do I even need t1?
Thanks for the help

Do you need it? No...
Could it possibly, maybe, be a little faster than 2T? yes...

If everything runs fine @ 2T - leave it and move on... :)

It will be a little faster, but probably not enough to notice. What voltage is the memory set at? Maybe bump it up to 2.7 or 2.8 V and try again. Memory like that shouldn't be wasted on 1T ;)
