This is a very annoying problem with my browser (IE 6)

Every time I try to follow a link (typically trying to use a coupon/discount link on one of these sites) that goes through that linksynergy addres, the page will not load and I receive the message "The page cannot be displayed"

I've tried everything, including lowering security settings, etc. and cannot get these links to work.

Any help appreciated.
 
Check your hosts file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts). Some programs modify it for ad blocking purposes. Remove the linksynergy lines.
 
Hey! It worked like a charm! You have no idea how much time I wasted trying to figure this problem out... I was having the same problem with ebates/fitwallet/etc.
