yeah, i was waiting for an answer to be checked, your reply seems good 🙂

edit- right at 100 replies, too.

I hope this upgrade doesn't result in the last fiasco where a number of posts, users, and etc. got permanently deleted.

Ack, noooooooo, curses!!! :|

Still broken! 🙁 :|

PS: It looks as if they just turned on AA in the forum control panel. All of the edges are smooth now. 😕

I am sure this has been mentioned before but a work around is to add a new rig and delete the old one.

I have attempted just that, about a week ago, and couldn't add a new rig then (Edited June 12 -- more recently I tried adding a replacement new entry and that worked for me).

Odd, I added this Friday night (in my time zone) and it wasn't a problem. I deleted the old one too.

testing ...

testing ...

it works!

Mahalo!

EDIT *more testing*

boo ... hiss ... pffft 😛

you *still* can't edit them ... DON'T make a mistake or you WILL have to delete it and start all over

but ... really ... who cares if my Corsair RAM is "XMS" or not?
-and that CRAP is finally out of my sig
😕

FINAL EDIT

Heatware seems to be broke in the Profile ... so i just added the link below my system rig ... no prob to 'workaround'

'A' for effort
--'not so good' for the overall execution but it IS getting better

That's a good question. Maybe we should e-mail Jason Clark for a fix? His e-mail is available through the About > Contact us section of AnandTech's main page.

Yeah I went through and deleted my old rig and added my new one.

Worked ok, but now I noticed something I want to change and cannot do so without deleting and reposting the whole darn thing again!

i think he must be sitting under a PILE of email [if that is possible]

so much is broken here ... i *hate* the nonsense of not seeing the LAST page ... the rigs are a minor annoyance

and is just ANOTHER annoyance i am going to have to put up with AGAIN ...

getting a HD2900xt, Vista, and Gigabyte Xfire MB ... this week

so i have to do it all over again

/sigh

Thanks mate 🙂

Btw I did say I would do it😛😉

Apopp
Seems you've left your P4 rig a long way behind😉

Oh & I now want to edit my main rig sys again as I've now upgraded to C2D😀

yeah ... but still a LOT of stuff from it just went into the FS/T forum ... AGP x1950p/1.5GB PC3500/ASrock DualVSTA MB

heck ... i lost my mind after my HD2900xt "sale" ... so ... after i saved $80 .. i spent another $180 on a xfire MB and $111 on Vista Premium

and then realized that there was only one IDE slot ....

so ... more money ...

... i just got a pair of Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (Perpendicular Recording) SATA HDs for RAID ...
so ...

i *need* to be up-to-date this Weekend with the damn system rigs

Geez Poppin, sounds like you came down with the same thing I had a couple of weeks ago. 😀

Looking forward to seeing it all in your 'System Rig' eventually.... 😉

You've gone mad 😉 why did you buy Vista?😕
the latest Cats for HD2900xt no longer work with Win2K
--and i sure as heck wasn't gonna get XP ... now
Vista is cheap enough ... $111 for OEM Home Premium 32-bit ... and i have 4GB of system ram

mad ? ... just wanted some high performance ... and then i realized my CPU was going to be using Crucial Ballistix 2 x 1GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) ... very OC'able RAM and realized i needed a better cooler ...

so ... i did a little research .... and i now got a Grand into this upgrade

Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Cooler
