In short: This domain controller was upgraded from WinNT4 to Win2000 then downgraded back to WinNT.

In Details:
1) I've upgraded the domain controller to Win2000 Server but realised that there some slight problem with the DNS Server configuration
2) Before downgrading, I've create a Backup Domain controller using WinNT4 so as to keep the user account and later be able transfer back to the domain controller
3) Shut down the Primary domain controller and promoted the Backup domain controller.
4) I refomatted the and installed the original domain controller with WinNT4, using the same PC name and domain name. The only difference now is it's been assigned as a Backup Domain Controller. (Coz the previous backup domain controller is now the primary domain controller.)
5) When I try to join this 'backup' domain controller back to the domain, it wasn't able to find the domain.
6) I tried changing the original domain's name to a new one and install this original domain controller as a PDC using the same computer name and the original domain name. It worked but the domain controller cannot be veiwed in the network browser.
7) I tried using one of the client to rejoin the domain (due to the SID issue), but the client also couldn't detect the domain.
8) Carrying out a search, I could find the domain controller.

Any help to enable the domain controller to reappear back into the network so that the clients can rejoin the domain?
