Unable to create folder in Program Files (xpsp2)

Have a weird issue going on which I need help figuring out. I'm unable to install any programs on my comp, permission restrictions. Which is weird since I'm the only user on the comp and logged in as admin. I double checked my account and I'm indeed an admin. Anyone have a fix?

Also, I'm able to remove and delete subfolders.
 
That's an odd problem. You can try to re-take "ownership" of the Program Files folder, or just the C: drive as a whole.
 
Yeah. I tried everything. But what was weird is that there were two seperate "Chris" accounts but with numbers after them (Computer name). I think it had to do with using Partition Magic (Long story). Anyway, I just formatted and reinstalled. The only thing I could do.
