Hi folks, seasons greetings to all!
I've had this problem for some time now and now its really starting to bug me. Please help.
I have two HDDs.

-> 40GB is old n has XP Professional SP2 which is very stable and blazing fast and is highly personalized with respect to settings n installed software [in short I'd really hate to lose it just because I'll have to re-personalise the whole thing. ]

->160GB is new and I put Vista Ultimate 32bit on it. [Cost a lot of money and a lot of cursing from mom!]. Heres the problem:

I use Nero 8 to write CDs/DVDs in both OSes but in XP, Nero just dosent let me continue multisession discs which still have space left.
In Vista, strangely, I am able to continue the same multisession discs which were rejected in XP.
I have made it a habbit to always start a multisession disc and very seldom do I turn off that option, so I know that I haven't finalized the discs in question.

In XP, Nero tells me that this disc has no free space and prompts me to enter an empty disc.

In Vista, everything goes smoothly and I am able to select the last session to continue writing on the disc.

Is this a driver problem in XP? If so, then how do I get the drivers? I cant really recollect wether or not I had this problem before because the situation never arised uptill now [project work needs to be updated on a single disc many no. of times].

I tried Googling around, heard of some software Nero had released which would allow XP users to read multisession discs but I couldne get the download link to work and the s/w is no longer available on Nero's site and anyways my problem concerns writing discs and not reading. I tried searching these forums as well but couldnt find anything relevant.

Please help me and sorry if this post is in the wrong category.
Thank You very much for your time
