Unable to connect with wireless from laptop

I have wireless desktop stations that can connect, but have a laptop that will work one day but not the next. Laptop is located close to the receiver. I did an ipconfig command, the default gateway is blank. Any ideas, I not very experienced with this wireless stuff.
