I have been trying to figure out what the means for a day now. I borrowed a DV camera and a firewire card and I have adobe premier on my system. But when I go into Adobe Premier, under my capture settings, all it says is "unable to connect to capture driver". What is going on? The card shows up in my hardware profile and all, but it wont see it in Premier. I also tried video wave(the software that came with the card), and it wont see the damn thing either. Please help.

PS. Could it possibly be that the card isnt seated in all the way into the PCI slot?
