Unable to Clear ARP Cache

Hi all,

I'm using Windows XP Pro and am connected directly to the cable modem via a 10/100 NIC.

I have an internet connection but am unable to renew an IP address and receive an error stating that I can't clear the ARP Cache.

I'm entered the following in the command prompt but still could not get it to clear:

netsh ip delete arpcache

Thanks for your help!
 
You left out one very important part of the command ...

It should look like this: netsh interface ip delete arpcache
