Unable to access shared drive from Win Me to Win2000

I set the shared resource on Windows 2000 and included the Win ME machine into the list of users. When I try to access the shared resouce (C drive) from Win Me It prompts for a password that I had not set.
The weird thing about this is that resource is already available to two other Win Me machines, that have the same permissons as the new Win Me in trouble, and there is no password involved. Any Ideas? TIA

I think you said you did this, but you need to make a user profile on the 2k machine that matches your login on the ME machine. For example, if you login to your ME machine as user:bill password:iamgay , then you need to add a user w/ the same login and pass on the 2k box. To do this, right click on My Comp, go to manage. Then, click on Local Users and groups, and then click on users and add the login there. Hope this helps.
