So, rather than upgrading to vista from xp, I created a partition with partition magic and boot magic, and installed onto the new partition, thinking that would be safer...unfortunately, after some error messages, blue screens, and other headaches, I was able to get vista working, but can no longer access the xp partition. It doesn't even have a drive letter. I then installed vista onto a differend hard drive, and made the original one a slave drive. Vista is working great, but still on the old drive I can only see one of two partitions. It has no drive letter, but it does show up on disk management utility. Any ideas on how to access files on that xp partition? Please?
