I let a friend borrow my laptop to do some work (IBM T21). She did her work, saved it to disk, and everything was fine. When she tried to access her floppy at lab today, she was unable to do so. I was perplexed by the problem so I asked her to bring me the disk when she got back from lab. Turns out the disk won't open. Says that it needs to be formatted.
What can I do now?
Is it possible to format the disk and use some sort of recovery program to recover the data??
