Un-water cool a vid card?

I just got the steal of the century on a video card, but the stock photo of it was water-cooled. The description didn't mention anything about the cooling, and it's possible they just grabbed whatever image first came up in google.

Question is, if the card arrives and is indeed water-cooled, is it possible to remove it and throw a fan on, as I don't have a water-cooled system?
 
Yes, but you'll have to buy a new HS+F.

The after market versions are generally better and quieter though so assuming the card is working you'll still be ahead.
