I am more and more glad every day not to be born an African.

UN reports what we already know.
Will they do anything about it? Maybe pass a meaningless resolution?

You are saying UNICEF doesn't do anything?

What I am saying is little has been done about it(this is not a new problem), and little will be done about it in the future(by the UN).

Largely true, but the UN will not put these countries on notice that they need to change their ways. And if they do, the resolutions will have no teeth to them.

These countries could each use a company of Marines to straighten them out the hard way.

That'd an invasion I'd support.

Well who do you think drafts those resolutions in the UN, let alone comprises the UN? You're country is one of the nations.... So why doesn't your country take a stand and introduce a resolution to the UN? Oh wait, I forgot that the UN is actually a global liberal conspiracy, not a forum of nations.
