Ummmm... My monitor starts "buzzing" when viewing certain background colors....

Either I'm really tired and I'm overly sensitive, or it's a recent development... I just noticed that when I view certain webpages, I can hear a high-pitched(?) buzzing from my monitor. It seems to occur on dark gray backgrounds.

Is this normal, or should I start eating Ramen and saving up for a new one? 😛

EDIT: my refresh rate is 100hz and it happens regardless of what contrast/brightness combo i use..

Try lowering your contrast/brightness, particularly if they're dialed all the way up. I've noticed this behavior on some older televisions.
