i am new to pc gaming,
got some freebies from newegg, borderlands2 and duke nukem.
i am so noob that i dont know what to do , i mean i dont even know what keys do what. cant seem to find any thing online that describes the basic moves.
can anyone point me to a very basic tutorial??

I would start by going into the game's menu and looking for an option like 'controls' or something to that extent. That should give you the key bindings for the game. Not all games have this feature though.

could not find anything like "controls" in borderland2 , but a google of keybinding turned up just what i needed.
thanks Kalmah.

Would not wish my enemies to play Duke Nukem,i rather suggest people to play with dog terds then play that game, its a god awful experience.

Anyone who has enjoyed that game from beginning to end needs to go to a monastery as it is a sin and a abomination that such a crap game was made, own it and have tried a few times to play it,wow is it bad.

I haven't tried either of those so here is a real overview. Almost all First Person Shooters (fps) have the same basic controls. Mode to look around (think of it as moving your head around), keys W,A,S,D move you around/walk W=forward S=backward A=left D=right. Keep in mind the world isn't a grid you could push W & A simultaneously to move diagonally. Left mouse button=shoot mouse wheel or numbers 1 - 9 tend to change weapons. R= almost always is reload.
Hope this helps
Enjoy!

This. Also, left Shift is usually to run. And E/F is for interacting with objects. Also right mouse click is to look down your weapon sights. TAB/ M is usually for the Map.
