It did not, nor led to anything because this mornings speculations about the "NEW YORK, Jan. 28 ? Shares of Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) inched up in trading before the opening bell on Tuesday after a federal judge granted the software company's motion to throw out five of the consumer antitrust lawsuits filed against the company in four states."

So i belive they put it on hold.

Split .NET has been renamed Split 2003 and delayed slightly for additional testing and bug fixes.

Ahhh....here we go.

What is the effective date of the split?

There are several key dates.

The Record Date ? January 27, 2003 - determines which shareholders are entitled to receive additional shares due to the split;

The Mailing or Payment Date - February 14, 2003 - is the date when holders of record or brokers are mailed notification of the shares subject to split; and

The Ex-split Date - February 18, 2003 - is the date when Microsoft common shares will trade on Nasdaq at the new split-adjusted price.

I thought the same thing and Ive been trading a LOOOONG time so I suspect some news items were in error.. How could that be??? Oh, the horror. :Q

Codeyf was correct in his last post unless it could be changed again.

Question: So if you buy today, what do you pay and do you get the 2 for 1 split?
