OK so i just watched Bowling for Colembine to see what the big deal was. and apperently i have missed it. i liked the movie. enjoyed it.

apperently i missed why you all hate Michael Moore
 
Because you can't believe anything he says in the movie. He takes bits and pieces of speeches, chops them up, puts them back together so that they say something that the speaker never spoke. He outright lies to the viewer on more than one occasion. Oh hell, just read this and then you can tell me how great it was.

Its pretty damn hard to watch a movie that is supposed to be a documentary when you don't even know whats a lie and whats the truth.
 
ok so he fuged some numbers and altered teh truth . doesent mean i shoud hate him. i we all hated everyoen that lied and altered teh truth the we would hate everyone
 
He PURPOSELY and KNOWINGLY mislead the millions of viewers into edited tapes that are COMPLETELY misrepresenting of what was trying to be said, he presented COMPLETLY falsified numbers that are COMPLETEly off, and yet he tries to pass it off as a "documentary".

And are you drinking right now? Your posts would indicate so, and would be reason for your flawed judgment.

That's not really the point...

What if you saw a documentry on.. say.. monkeys.

Then you find out that half the information in the documentry was false and misleading..
 
no im not drinking. but i acknowlege that he lied to everyone. So what? was it wrong and missleading? yes. shoud i hate him? NO.
 
After reading about all the mis-truths in his "documentary" it's a freakin shame he won for best documentary, especially since there were some really great documentaries up for an Academy Award this year.

Oh well, I still like his movie as entertainment.

No one's telling you to hate him. It's just that he deserves ZERO credibility for putting such a "film" together.
